How It Started
A Blasting Business That Became a Pool Company
Kevin Trumbull founded Miracle Blasting in February 2017 to solve one specific problem.
The problem was calcium. West Valley water is hard enough that pool tile goes white within a couple of years, and homeowners were being told their only options were to live with it or pay to have the tile torn out and replaced. Neither was true. The mineral just needed a method that could take it off without taking the glaze with it.
Word travelled quickly, mostly through Yelp and neighbours. One of our earliest reviewers had been quoted thousands to remove all their tile before we cleaned it instead. Another had gone away, come home to a green pool, and called us because somebody had passed on the number.
That second kind of call is how the pool service side started. Customers who had hired us for blasting began asking whether we would just look after the whole pool. Enough of them asked that we built routes, and today Miracle Pool Care runs weekly service across the West Valley alongside the restoration work that started it.

Read through our reviews and you will see technicians named by customers — Brian, Christian, Chris — because on a company this size you deal with people rather than a dispatch queue.
That is deliberate. We could grow faster by subcontracting and by putting a call centre between us and the customer, and every year somebody suggests it. But the reason people pass our number around is that when something goes wrong, they get one of us rather than a ticket number.
